When you see ‘Pet-friendly’ on our website, it means that a hotel may allow up to two dogs per room. Pet-friendly hotels may offer extra amenities such as pet food, food dishes, water bowls and play areas. Pet policies vary by hotel, including restrictions on size and the types of pets allowed to stay.
Choice Hotels® is a franchisor of the leading pet-friendly hotel chains in the country. Quality Inn®, Comfort® hotels, Ascend Hotel Collection®, Econo Lodge®, MainStay Suites®, Roadway Inn®, Clarion®, Clarion Pointe™, Sleep Inn®, WoodSpring Suites® and Suburban Extended Stay® hotels have locations that offer pet-friendly rooms. In general, the policy is two dogs per room, with a specific weight restriction, although policies vary by location.
Guests with large dogs and other types of pets must contact the hotel directly for approval. Breed restrictions may apply. Certain common areas are off-limits to pets. A nightly fee applies to each pet. No pets are allowed on the hotel bed(s). Since each hotel has a unique pet policy, guests are encouraged to research the pet policy before booking.
The pet fee varies by hotel. Fees range from $10-$75 per pet, per night, with a maximum of two pets. A refundable deposit may be required at check-in. Guests are required to call the hotel in advance and let the check-in desk know the size, breed, and number of pets that will stay in the room.
