Preventing child trafficking

Providing online training
To educate our management and staff at our franchised hotels, we provide online training - Combating Human Trafficking in Your Hotel, that has been completed 29,543 times since being launched in November 2015. We also make other resources available, such as The Blue Campaign toolkit that have been viewed over 3,000 times in 2019.
Ongoing communication
But it doesn’t stop with training. Through ongoing communications, we work to raise awareness at our franchised hotels including articles in our franchisee newsletter, announcements at our annual conference, and alerts to hotels located in areas of high-risk events like the Super Bowl and Olympics. We also utilize our field-based associates to visit the hotels and encourage them to view the training.
Giving back
Since 2010, through the Choice Privileges® redemption program, Choice has fundraised tens of thousands of dollars for Polaris, a leading non-profit organization in the global fight against human trafficking.
