Orlando Attractions

Visit Orlando, land of theme parks, fantastic weather and out-of-this-world attractions

Come for a spin around Universal Orlando, stay for a round of golf, and then make wishes come true at Walt Disney World®. Whatever your reason for visiting, Orlando is full of attractions that will welcome you with open arms, broad smiles and bursts of laughter.

Universal Orlando

There’s a universe of things to do at Universal Orlando. Dazzling movie-themed attractions based on Universal Studios’ films and TV shows delight millions of visitors each year. Go beyond the screen and right into the action on an amazing array of thrill rides and live entertainment. Remember that you can skip the lines when you purchase a Universal Express Pass in advance.

Just next door, is Universal’s Islands of Adventure, where childhood fantasies come to life on cutting-edge rides and interactive attractions. In between the two parks you’ll find Universal CityWalk—a popular dining and entertainment complex with plenty of nightlife and shopping, too.

Marsh Landing Adventures

What’s a trip to Florida without a visit with the local gators? Enjoy a Marsh Landing Adventure via airboat as you explore the headwaters of the Everglades and get acquainted with the region’s alligators, spoonbills, deer, pelicans and wild pigs. Indelible memories are made here. Just remember to keep your hands inside the boat—especially during prime gator-watching season from June to October.

Discovery Cove

Discovery Cove is one of the premier attractions in Orlando—and one of the least crowded. Don’t call it a “waterpark,” this all-inclusive “day resort” limits attendance to just 1,300 guests—ensuring that everyone enjoys a relaxing time in this unique, tropical setting. Enjoy swimming with dolphins, snorkeling through a saltwater reef, wading with river otters and feeding exotic birds. Or, just keep your cool surrounded by white-sand beaches, lush landscaping, winding rivers and a giant, resort-style pool. Equipment rentals are free, plus you’ll enjoy access to unlimited food and drinks.

Reservations are required, so try to book far in advance for your day at Discovery Cove—and ask about becoming “trainer for a day.” Something else to keep in mind: The Discovery Cove Day Resort Package includes unlimited admission to SeaWorld and Aquatica.

Walt Disney World

Florida’s most popular family attraction is a destination at which you could (and should) spend several days. Within Walt Disney World are four separate theme parks—Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Epcot and Hollywood Studios—each jam-packed with all the rides, live entertainment and interactive fun to keep kids—and kids-at-heart—smiling from (mouse) ear to ear.

If you want to see all four parks during your stay in Orlando, check out “Park Hopper” ticket options. And make sure to make FASTPASS+ reservations 30-60 days before your arrival so you can jump the lines for your favorite rides and enjoy meet-ups with Disney characters.

Kennedy Space Center

The epicenter of America’s space race, Kennedy Space Center is where the Mercury, Gemini, Apollo, Skylab and Space Shuttle projects have been managed and launched. At the Visitor Center Complex, you’ll enjoy a flight simulation and numerous exhibits on the history and future of manned and robotic space exploration. Bus tours of the entire complex start here and will take you out to the Apollo/Saturn Visitors’ Center and the U.S. Astronaut Hall of Fame.

Be sure to exit through the gift shop and pick up some official freeze-dried space food. You’ll never know when it might come in handy

Leu Gardens. Fifty spectacular acres of fresh air and flowering finery feature gardens specifically designed to help visitors and botanists better understand the lives of plants. In the center of the gardens is the Leu House Museum, a beautifully restored turn-of-the-century home.
