*Eligibility Requirements: You must be an active duty, reserve, retired member or spouse of the US Armed Services, including the Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force or Coast Guard, or the National Guard, with appropriate military identification, who is 18 years or older, to qualify for Military Benefit under the Choice Privileges rewards program. Choice Hotels reserves the right to disqualify anyone or refuse to honor a benefit for any person who does not fulfill the membership requirements at any time, in Choice Hotels’ sole discretion.
 
Any benefits under the program are only available for members of Choice Privileges® rewards program, and only in those markets where the Choice Privileges rewards program is available. To become a Choice Privileges member, please visit www.choicehotels.com/CPMilitary to join. Benefits are subject to change. Once an eligible member enrolls in the Choice Privileges rewards program and updates their military status in their account, the member will receive Gold Elite Status for the remainder of the current year and for the subsequent calendar year. After that period, the member must qualify for Gold Elite Status as normal.
 
Please note that in order to maintain an active status in the Choice Privileges Rewards Program and retain accumulated Choice Privileges points, you must engage in qualifying activity within 18 months, such as completing a qualified point-eligible stay, earning Choice Privileges points, redeeming Choice Privileges points, or purchasing points. Choice Privileges points will be forfeited in accounts with no qualifying activity during the previous 18 consecutive calendar months.

Government Rate Terms:
 
To receive the relevant government rate at a participating Choice® hotel, select the applicable “Special Rate” when booking, and be sure to bring your government identification.  These rates are eligible for Choice Privileges® for qualifying stays.  Rates are subject to blackout dates and availability; see below for individual rate details.
 
Government/Military (non-Leisure)
Reserved for travel on official government business. This rate is only available for federal employees, and for military personnel, their dependents and members of select government/military oriented associations** while on official travel (only). An eligible party must occupy the room to qualify for this rate.
 
** The list is subject to change, but includes AMVETS, AUSA, Marine Corp League, NARFE, Navy League, NCOA, and Young Marines.
 
State Government (non-Leisure)
Bring your City, County or State Government ID with you to qualify for the State Government Rate when traveling on official business.
 
Military/Veterans (Leisure)
Military personnel, veterans, their dependents, and members of select government/military oriented associations are extended the rate for leisure travel. An eligible party must occupy the room to qualify for this rate, and you must be a Choice Privileges member.
