Garden of the Gods images—Gaze at the summit Get a view of Pikes Peak—the highest summit of the southern front range of the Rocky Mountains at 14,110 feet—from the North and South Gateway rock formations. It’s one of the most striking of the Garden of the Gods images. Look closely at the south end of North Gateway as you’ll spot the plaque that commemorates the gift of Garden of the Gods to the city of Colorado Springs.
