Renovation desperately needed
I'm told that when our meeting at this hotel was booked in 2019 it was a really nice place. During my stay that couldn't have been further from the truth. The hotel was partially under renovation. There was dust an debris tracked into the occupied areas. Equipment was missing or out of order. The elevators were out of service. The food service facilities were closed. The climate control was irregular. The meeting facilities and setup were haphazard.
I understand that following our event the hotel was closing down to complete the renovations. I wish our meeting had been moved from this location or postponed. I feel our group was ripped off.

Don't stay here in Fredericksburg, VA until they get the renovations done
The original hotel was bought and once when bought, they should have been upfront about the renovations before we checked in.
