I'm not entirely certain I didn't stay in a condemned building. The 2nd floor and the room I was in was in complete disrepair. It smelled of mold & mildew, the walls and furniture were dented with chipped paint, the bathroom light was missing it's cover so it was wires & a bulb in the ceiling, mold in the bathroom.

Dirty

The upon entering had a dirty appearance. There was what appeared to be a tomato sauce like stain on the top of one of the comforters about the size of a baseball. The toilet seat was about to fall off. The water temp was hot and that was it, would not adjust, my 8 yo wouldn’t and didn’t even bathe. There was a dried wash cloth hanging on the curtain inside the shower. I have used choice hotels a lot and I am not a complainer. We were tired and driving through, wasn’t planning on stopping and I had kids with me, only reason I didn’t change rooms. I let the dayshift desk clerk know about everything, she appeared to be taking notes, she was pleasant but I don’t know how much concern there was.
