Friendly helpful workers clean place

The room was clean and well maintained. It was also very quiet (no loud roadways and we got lucky with no loud neighboring guests). The breakfast was great (staff made sure to continually clean up the serving space if needed and ensured everything was stocked). The staff member for checkout was great, though the staff members at check in were both a little less friendly (nothing awful, just somewhat more short in terms of how they interacted for example more abrupt questioning if we were part of a group with no greeting etc.).

When we got there, a woman was waiting in line for the front desk employee to assist her, he was in the back room, I am unsure what he was doing. He was back there for a few minutes and I asked her if anyone was there? She stated he was in the back room, we waited a few more minutes and then he came out to assist her and afterwards to check me in… he did not apologize for the delay. This happened in the evening hours and we were traveling and we just wanted to get to our room… The following day there was a few people waiting in line and again he was in the back. This is poor customer service. This all took place in the evening hours. On a good note the room was very clean, and as far as breakfast. There was not much there when I got there at 8:30 am. The only thing that was good at this hotel was the room that was very cleaned.
