Nice place, owners and staff always very friendly and helpful. Remodel is moving along but having had experience with remodeling Walmart supercenters in Florida seems like this contractor could pick up the pace and get this project completed so the owners can get on with having this motel 100% ready for business. Always a pleasant stay when I’m there!!

The hotel was undergoing renovations during the day which was unfortunate as I was staying for work and working nightshift but ear plugs were enough to stop most of the noise. By far, checking out was a most unpleasant experience. I had checked out early and was told that they could not check me out, only the owner could check someone out early. When I asked for my room to be zeroed out and a print out of the receipt, I was told that only the owner could do that as well but was assured that I would receive an email of the receipt when the owner came in. When I didn't receive one after two days, I called again and was sent a receipt only to find that they charged me for two extra days. I called back and spoke with the hotel lady who told me that the room was "nonrefundable", that she would not refund the two days that I didn't stay, and that it was a curtesy that she didn't charge me for the days that I had booked but didn't stay. I spoke with my company's travel agency who sorted it out but it was quite unfortunate to not be able to get that same service from the hotel itself. If I ever have the pleasure of visiting the area again, I will warn all coworkers and contractors to steer clear of this hotel and all other Choice Hotels as these business practices are very unbecoming, unprofessional, and, frankly, corrupt.

Very good gest service and clean rooms.
