Objective observation of stay

The representation on the web was not accurate as to what the current state of the place was. I was utterly disappointed in my stay and the expectations I had for the place. The rooms were not cleaned well and had trash, food debris along the baseboards. The room humidity was too high and the carpet felt moist on my feet. The pool was not open and the grounds were in poor shape. The elevator was broke for half the stay. They did mow the evening before my checkout but the place definitely wasn't the caliber I would expect for "downtown Tulsa." The worse part of the experience would have been finding blood stained covers when I pulled the secondary cover back. I don't know if had been washed or not but it was disgusting and housekeeping did not show up for the extent of my stay. The night clerk did get me fresh linens but I had to walk downstairs because the phone in the room did nor work right. He then carried them up after asking me if I wanted to carry them up and asked if I wanted to leave the dirty linens on the floor for the next day. I told him I didn't really want to and he removed them. The place lacked management and follow theough

Quality inn- NEVER again

This was by far the worst overall hotel experience I have had. It started when we tried to book the stay online. It was after midnight so understandably the online booking didn't work (it actually booked a room for the next night), but then it wouldn't allow me to cancel it. So we went to the hotel and the lady at the front desk said she cancelled that reservation and she helped me book 2 rooms. The charge was over $20 more than the online cost. I said, I'm a member (gold) so can I not get a better price? She said no. So now the room is $94. I asked if I could get the water or snack as part of my gold member benefits, but they didn't have any. We also asked about the AC because there was no AC in the lobby or other common areas of the hotel, but she assured us the AC in the rooms was working. We also confirmed the time breakfast is served. When we got to the room the TV was on and the balcony door unlocked. It seemed odd. We showered and found there was no hot water. When we checked the other room I booked for a friend they also couldn't get hot water and their room had the TV on as well which they thought was odd. On top of that the headboard to their bed was broken off the wall and no longer straight or aligned w the bed. They were staying an additional night but had to move rooms. The next room they got the AC was constantly dripping into the carpet. I thought this hotel must not provide shampoo because neither of the rooms we got has shampoo but then the new room they moved our friends to the next night had a dispenser for shampoo and conditioner (it was almost empty). In the morning we went down to breakfast before 9:30 when it closed and there was nothing left including no coffee, milk for cereal, ect. The lady working threw a bag of eggs in the microwave but said she didn't know how to fix more of anything else. But when we came back down later there were friends? of hers eating waffles and eggs and everything. So I don't know what was going on there, but I wasn't happy. The pool at this hotel is also out of order though I wasn't told this in person or online. I was planning on enjoying the pool as this was my 50th birthday and I wanted to enjoy some leisure time. I know that quality inns are exactly 5 star but the amenities they advertise (and basics like hot water and AC in texas) should work or guests should be told. This hotel was close to the friend's we were visting home so that is why we chose it. It's also no wonder that the AC doesn't work as the fenced in AC unit area outside has weeds and grass grown up so high you can hardly see some of the AC units. Nothing in this hotel was maintained. The walls were dirty, the bathtub peeling, ac didn't work in common areas but dripping water in the carpet in room, look out of order, no water bottles for guests, no shampoo in some rooms, doors unlocked, pool out of order, 3rd floor smelled of pee, vagrants in the parking lot and random people hanging out in the lobby. Four days after this stay I was billed for 3 rooms so I guess the front desk clerk lied when whe said she cancelled the online booking.
