Hotel room wasn’t ready at time of check in. Quarter machine for laundry was broken and didn’t have any hot breakfast items. The room had mold spots on the ceiling and looked unclean around the ice machine. Outdoor pool was okay. Indoor pool and hot tub smelled like pee. Staff was very friendly.

With the higher price point, the housekeeping could have been far better. More than just making a bed and dumping the trash. The Room was very Grungy.

Rooms: Rooms have a musty, damp smell. The floor tiles in one of our rooms was lifting up so sometimes you trip or scratch your feet. The bathrooms were not cleaned well. The toilet had stains and there was hair and dust in the corners. Same with bathtub. The Rooms are spacious and main rooms were cleaned and beds made. The rooms are very humid. The blankets, pillows and everything in the room felt damp. The only way to try and fix that was to make the room cold very cold. Towels were not drying. There are no exhaust fans to suck in all the moisture in the bathroom itself. One of our group members .. her room had a bubbling water bubble in the corner of her room. Breakfast: Not much choice. Waffles, cereal or yogurt. The juice machine was out of order, but some days there was a jug of orange juice. They had coffee and tea. Pool: Never had towels, had to get from front desk. The outside pool would at times be closed. Guests were told there is no chlorine in outdoor pool. Indoor pool smells of gas. Staff: Staff are very friendly no doubt. The front desk service was good. Even the cleaning staff are friendly just need to do a more thorough cleaning job. Overall the hotel needs to have some remodeling and upgrades. The hotel has a musty old building smell. The place has great potential to be a good hotel.
