Very clean and comfortable staff worked fast manner about getting me checked in

My wife raised a mobility scooter, therefore, we need handicap rooms so she can get in and out of the bathroom, bigger room to be able to get around etc. We reserved a handicap room but the evaluator wasn't working and they out us in a regualr room on the 1st floor , the woman working was rude about it, after tryj g to explain to her that we reserved a handicap room, she said we could still have it if we wanted to take the steps, which is impossible on a mobilty scooter as she seen my wife was on. The lobby was freezing cold, even at breakfast time u couldn't sit out there and eat it was so cold and even the food wasn't hot and barely even warm. This is our 2nd stay at this hotel and we returned to it because out 1st experience there was pleasant, this time ,not so much. The morning staff that was there this morning, we're great, but the lady in the evening when we checked in, not so much. My wife couldnt even close the bathroom door when using the bathroom because of here mobility scooter which was not a pleasant experience either.

The staff was very friendly, but the stay was just barely acceptable. The whole property is dirty and aged. There was a strange smell in our room and the bathroom was not cleaned very well. The faucet in the bathtub dripped the whole time and there was standing water in the tub. The main positives that kept our stay from being a disaster were that the linens were clean and smelled good and the breakfast was actually very surprisingly good. The breakfast area was probably the cleanest area in the whole hotel except for the mini split air conditioner unit in the dining area. There was visible mold growing in the air vent.
