Was not clean and old.

We stayed at this hotel out of extreme necessity. As we walked into the door all we could smell is cigarette smoke. It was so overwhelming that I could not breath. The young man at the counter was very polite. He offered us several options. He told us that he had rooms on the third floor that were non-smoking. This was true. However, the hallway smelled of cigarettes and pot. I do not exaggerate that it was horrific. Our room was nice (maybe remodeled). It was the only place I felt safe and comfortable. Plusses were a courteous staff and a nice room (maybe remodeled). Negative were overwhelming nasty smell and unsafe feeling.

It took forever for the clerk to get me a key to work in the door. I have to go get it activated three times I didn’t know I had to pull the door handle to me then put the key in for it to work. I didn’t have a remote to the tv, got one from the front desk and the only thing it did was cut off and on, couldn’t change the channel or turn the volume up or down. The tub wasn’t clean, it was late when I got in so I didn’t make a fuss about it. The bed was comfortable so I didn’t rest well.
