This hotel needs room updates, and more supplies. There was mold on the caulking in the shower and the bathroom ceiling towels were crumbling and falling on the floor. We booked a suite and were given a standard king even though I discussed with the manager that I was checking into the suite. I had booked 4 rooms, three kings and one king suite. The manager acted like she was doing me a favor by upgrading me even though I had paid extra for the suite. I really felt like she tried to deceive me and hate the fact she thought she could get away with it. The chair was missing from the suite, and I mentioned it but was told a different room had two. She said we could always sit in the breakfast area if we wanted more seating! We went down to ask for the bedding for our grandson who was sleeping on the sofa bed and could only get sheets because they were out of pillows and blankets! The pool is the size of a hot tub with maybe 3 chairs by it, no lounges at all. The water was dirty and was over crowded. I’ve never seen a smaller hotel pool. We didn’t even attempt to take our grandson since there was no room in it or around it. The shower rod in my son’s room fell down while he was showering because it wasn’t put up right. My other son had no bath towels in his room. When he went to ask for them, he was told they ran out. , so he and his wife dried with hand towels. It was a huge disappointment. The hot breakfast is really the only thing this hotel has going for it. It was very good, but ends at 9:30 which seems a bit early. I was told I’d be given 5,000 extra points for having to switch rooms and all of the other issues but I haven’t been credited with those yet. I’m not surprised though. Do yourself a favor and choose a different hotel.

I am always greeted when I arrive. I can't remember the receptionist's name, she's short and wears a hijab. But she is absolutely the best human ever. I've been coming to Clarion for the past year and she is one of the reasons I always come back. She's funny, nice, accommodating, and such a great person. The hotel is always clean. I clean, inspect, and renovate cabins, so I instantly inspect my room when I check in. Always super clean.
