Convenient location

Where do I begin? The front desk person upon arrival was pleasant. Once we got to out room it was extremely old and worn! The mattress was hard as a rock and the pillows flat as a pancake. The table in the room had not been wiped down and had old food debris on it. There was a very old and stained chair in the room along with 2 metal folding chairs to sit on. the sink was old and rusted out with no plug in place. Heaven forbid you drop something in the sink, because it would go right down the drain. The floor was so dirty that it looked like my husband had been walking outside barefooted when he looked at the bottom of his feet. When I moved the nightstand to get access to an outlet, there was a half smoked old cigarette behind it. WhenI booked this room it was because it was a Choice Hotel. I should have been suspicious when there were no pictures of the property on the website. There was a pool, but as everything else it was so dirty, making it very unwelcoming. Although check out time was 11:00 AM, the house cleaning staff came knocking at 9:00 AM and again at 10:00 AM. Do they not check to see if people have checked out? The parking lot had trash in it including cigarette buts everywhere. The only positive thing I have to say besides the front desk attendant is the air conditioning worked well and the noise it made was tolerable. I will never stay at this location again and will NEVER recommend it to anyone else! In fact, very tempted to blast how horrible the experience was on social media as a warning to other!

Very poor condition of the room. I feel there was a bait and switch as the motel wasn’t really a Roadway Inn. The sign out front was a different name with Roadway Inn in small letters as if it was some type of affiliate motel. I was very disappointed as real Roadway Inns I’ve stayed at in the past were of much better quality
