The man that checked us in was incredibly rude. We are a family of six, with four young kids who has always stayed in a hotel room with two queen rooms. When we checked in, he all but refused to check us into the room Because there were six people (two adults, four of our own kids). The first room we went to had a terrible smell that we immediately compared to the smell Of a tobacco barn. We asked to be moved, the same man told us he could move us without a charge “if we hadn’t touched anything in the existing room”. The next room we went to, also had a terrible smell, similar to a barn but was more tolerable than the first room. Immediately upon checking, we took the kids to the indoor pool that closed at 10 p.m. At 9:58pm, the man came in and announced “pools closed, get out”. My husband told him he didn't know it was closed. The man demanded the kids get out of the pool. The pool was also very old with slime on the bottom. Overall, the stay was less than desirable and we would not consider staying here ever again. I expressed these concerns to the lady at check out this morning who was very nice, accommodating, and apologetic. I think the service we received was likely isolated to the man at check in but he absolutely ruined our perception of the hotel and the accommodations and we would not recommend this hotel or stay here again.

It was a solid hotel experience.

Very clean and inviting lobby. Friendly helpfull staff. Our room was large and very clean. A/C ran quit and strong even with 110° temp outside. They had a large breakfast with sausage, bacon, eggs, biscuits and gravy, French toast and waffles. Along with an assortment of cereals, yogurts, juices, coffee, tea and milk.
