I booked online through my choice hotels app, and redeemed points for this stay. Upon arrival, they asked for a deposit..I haven't been charged a deposit in years..since I am a platinum member(lots of hotel stays) and always book on the app. The guy at the desk argued with me, saying every hotel requires a deposit...so why are you the first one in 4 years to ask for it?? Then I get to the room and found 4 roaches within the first 5 minutes. Maybe the hotel should have given ME a deposit..cus now I'm scared that your nasty roaches might have hitched a ride home with me in my belongings. Also, I am 5'2 and the shower head is SHORTER THAN ME. Its posted too low on the wall. I literally had to bend my knees to get under it. Never again will I stay at a rodeway inn. I can't believe choice hotels has yall in their network. Oh, and also, the area is sketchy, not safe at all. Several rather questionable looking people were loitering outside the whole time...a group in front and another around back..drug addicts or homeless, or both. Don't leave valuables in your car, if you must stay at this roach motel.

It was very nice

I had a towel that wasn't even washed. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. No cups in room or ice. The room was dirty. Place was surrounded by homeless people asking for sex, change and weed.
