The first room they gave me had not been cleaned. The room they moved me to smelled horrific. Half the plugs didn’t work. The shower rod was barely attached to the wall. The last occupants trash was still in the room. The room was just dirty overall. I will not be back.

With adjusted expectations, and for the affordable price, I recommend staying here at the Quality Inn. Worth the price difference between a $500 a night room in Starkville during a game weekend or here in Columbus. I traveled without my husband on this trip, and was a little concerned with it being a motel style with outside rooms, however I felt very safe. The staff are extremely friendly, the hotel clientele was mainly a bunch of other college parents and older alumni. The room was as clean as clean as can be. Yes, the hotel could use updating, and it looks like it is being renovated, but comfortable beds and very quiet. I would definitely stay here again.

The room was smelled like old stale cigarette smoke. The room had so Much humidity in it that the carpet and bedding were actually wet! It apparently has been like this for some time as the light fixtures were rusty. Every so often, the bathtub would randomly release water. The toilet was not stable. Overall one of the nastiest hotel rooms I have ever stayed in. When I brought these concerns to the desk clerk, she said “sorry but we do have it posted that we are in the process of renovating the rooms.” When asked who the owners were she gave a name but said she had no idea how to contact them.
