The hotel served its purpose by providing a decent place to rest for the night. The beds were very comfortable, and the complimentary breakfast was a pleasant bonus. Our room had a noticeable musty odor, which seemed to be coming from the carpet—it appeared worn and in need of cleaning. When we checked out in the morning, one of the front desk staff was dismissive and didn’t even acknowledge me. Thankfully, another staff member stepped in to assist.

I booked a room for my mom and daughter traveling the same day 8/1/2025 at 11:00 am. They checked in at 1:30 pm at the hotel in Clinton, MS, this hotel was deplorable. The bell carts were filthy and dirty. The first room they were assigned to, smelled of a funky, musty order. There was blood stains on the lampshades. So they put them in another room. It reeked of urine and had stains in the carpet which was lifting from the floor. So they checked out within 30 minutes of and was told I’d still be charged for one night. So I called to request a refund and was told that only the owner Mr Lee could do it and he was out until the next day. They took my information and I was told he would call me. Will still no call. Also the staff was rude and unprofessional. Arguing in front of guest and on the outside smoking weed.

This particular Comfort Inn needs to be upgraded. Facilities were shabby. Room musty when opening door. Not as clean as most Comfort Inns. When we checked in the desk attendant was not there. Had to wait for her. another employee asked if we would like for her to get the desk attendant. She was upstairs!
