It needs to be updated.
We've been staying at this hotel quite often for over 4 years. The quality has gone downhill since Choice Hotels took over ownership. Pretty much every piece of carpet is filthy - past being able to clean it. It all needs new carpet. Also, every room needs to have the bathrooms - especially the inside of the bathroom doors cleaned and repainted. The exterior, when walking up to the entrance, is also dirty. I'm thinking the cement has not been cleaned for a very long time. Again, not a good rating. All in all, it just doesn't feel clean anymore. The pros are the comfortable beds and the location.
