The pool was ice cold and we were not informed of this. I took my three grandchildren to swim and they got in and back out. I mentioned this to the front desk and they said the heater had not been working the week before but they thought they had gotten it fixed.

Very overpriced. Especially the rooms on the back side of hotel next to railroad tracks. Worst sleep I ever had when trains go by at midnight. Overall, the hotel was very clean, breakfast was ok, staff was very friendly and helpful.

Size: Our room was very small and did not have adequate space for opening/storing luggage for 2 adults. There was only a desk chair for sitting- not adequate for 2 adults. The bathroom was small without enough places provided to hang towels/ wash clothes. No room on the vanity to put personal items or anywhere else in the bathroom. Cleanliness: The tub/shower had evidence for mold/ black stains where walls contacted the tub. (Pictures available). The shear curtains were really dirty on the edges. (Pictures available). The wall heat/cool unit blew the curtains out into the room when the fan was blowing (almost continuous!) and you could not walk along side of bed without having the dirty curtains touch you. The room felt damp and smelled musty. Service: We had limited contact with staff. One day our wet towels were still on the floor when we returned in the evening and when we inquired about needing clean towels the desk employee apologized, said they were "short staffed today' and gave us a couple towels- but the pile of wet towels stayed on the floor. The breakfast area was clean and pleasant and the food good/ as expected for a 'free' breakfast. Overall, we were disappointed and dissatisfied with the room. We booked a 7 night stay with this location - policy was no cancelation - had to pay for full reservation up front. We chose this facility because of location and price, but will not stay there again. I have never reported a complaint regarding a hotel and certainly do not expect things to be perfect. My primary concern is about the dirty condition of the room- lower price should not compromise a healthy environment.
