Good overnight stay
This hotel was clean and comfortable. I needed a hotel in this area for one night and this hotel worked out nicely. I stay regularly at Choice Hotels and this hotel was as good or better than most.

A lovely stay at the North Mankato Comfort Inn
This hotel is expensive but very new, nice, and clean. There is a bar in the hotel, the first time I have ever seen a bar in a Choice property. You can get a frozen pizza there, and there is a little store where you can buy food to warm up in the microwave in your room. The general manager was very nice and helpful. He gave me a good restaurant recommendation and excellent directions to the Betsy-Tacy houses, which is what I stopped in Mankato to see. Overall, a very nice experience.
