Very helpful and pleasant staff -including Douglas, who I believe does maintenance. The room was very comfortable. Spotless! The Town restaurant had good food also (the smashburger was excellent)

The room was clean and very spacious. All 4 of us slept comfortably.

The hotel itself was just fine. The staff was very nice and professional. It was definitely the best price for the area for the busy time of the year. The walls were a little thin - you could hear footsteps and conversations from other rooms too easy. We heard people walking down the hall all the time, night and day. We also did not realize how far away it was from the main areas in Edgartown - I think we thought this was the Edgar Inn (which is right near the water). It is great if you do not want to go around the shops, waterfront, or restaurants. The area is very quiet and somewhat remote. There is even a grocery store next door to the hotel - which was convenient. Depending on what you want, this place might be right for you. It did the job for our stay, but would probably splurge for a Inn/Hotel closer to the water next time.
