Very nice room this visit....

The room had a funny smell, mold on the curtains, lamp shades and in the bathroom. I booked August 5th-7th due to a power outage in my neighborhood. My family and I checked out August 6th and the attendant assured she checked us out. I checked my account and was still charged for both days. We have to dispute the charges! We highly upset and I will never stay there again I will not recommend staying there.

The room was fine, felt a little uneasy when I first pulled in parking lot at there were 3-4 young men hanging out near a parked car and sitting on the curb. When I asked the gentleman at the desk if I should be concerned or if they worked there, he said he knows one of them works there and that was it. Not the best impression coming into unfamiliar surroundings. As for the room it was fine, but there was confusion trying to access my room. I was given card keys and put it in the slot to unlock the door, I tried several times to no avail as the key card would make the lock click as if unlocking, but when turning the handle door wouldn't open. After a few minutes, I asked another guest to try and same results. He was able to determine that the dead bolt was locked that is why the electronic lock would not work. Had to go back to front desk to get an actual key for the deadbolt. Once I unlocked the deadbolt I found that there was not actual locking mechanism for the electronic lock. Seems like a minor annoyance, but once again not the greatest impression.
