Great Value for Chestertown
This is a very nice hotel, clean, and reasonably priced. So many extras make the stay more enjoyable, from the lemon water in the lobby to the generous breakfast in the morning. We also enjoyed the pool after a long drive in hot weather. Chestertown is such a cool town and it's nice to have a clean, affordable place near the downtown area.

Awful Experience
This was one of the most unpleasant hotels I have ever stayed at but the staff were really nice so that was the only positive. when we checked in (we were there for the tournament), I was told there were many gluten-free options for breakfast. Not true. There was yogurt. Not even fruit and the coffee was like black sludge. But whatever. The room was the issue. We entered the room and it smelled bad. There was black dust all over the bed covers, and there were stains all over the carpet. Some were red in color and my dog went over to smell them as some had not been fully wiped up - no idea what these were, so I had to get on the floor and start trying to clean. The room was dirty. We left the next day, and during the night, no idea why but my daughter and I were itchy and that continued for the next few days. We had to take Benadryl since we were very uncomfortable… and I had to pay $178 for this. When I spoke to the front desk staff, I was told my message was being shared with the manager but she was on vacation and so I would not hear back for another week. So I guess there isn’t an assistant manager who takes over when the Manager is not there? That is bad management but my issue is with what I had to pay and how awful this was. Thanks for taking the time to read this. Hopefully I will get a response back.
