Unsatisfactory stay
Hotel only had one ice machine which took the front desk a couple hours to fix. We drove eight hours and were looking forward to just taking a shower and going to sleep. We'll shower was not working and the gym was closed.. The front desk person was easy to deal with and was able to supply us with a couple cold soda to have with are dinner. Overall very dissatisfied for the price not a good stay at all.

I had a rough experience at the Quality Inn in Caribou, Maine. The hotel was in disrepair, with litter all over the property and what appeared to be someone living in a tent out back. The ice machine was a mess, leaking water that was being soaked up by a blanket. I was also concerned to find that the emergency exits were blocked. While the front desk was unattended when I arrived, the staff member I eventually spoke with was nice.

It wasn’t until we settled in that I saw just how dirty the room was. It looks like the rug had never been vacuumed. The bathroom had a strong odor of Clorox so I know they washed the toilet, but when I went into the bathroom in my bare feet they stuck to the floor. I used a wet Kleenex on the floor and it was absolutely filthy. I then went and wipe down the sink area. and it was dirty also and other peoples hair was on the counter. There were also stains, running down the wall next to the light switch. At that point in time all we wanted to do was go to bed because we had to be up and out so early in the morning. Whoever painted the bathroom and the other room, obviously did not know what they were doing. There were paint splatters all over. Obviously, not a great look.
