My mother and I have stayed at this hotel several times throughout the years and had always been decent, we are from Louisville and have a relative that lives in special needs housing that we try to visit every few months. With that said this is the first time we have stayed in a couple of years bc of an incident with booking that made us to shy away from booking here and start booking instead at the comfort inn down the road. How ever we decided to make the trip last minute and most of the hotels in the area were booked bc of a car show in town so we bit the bullitt and booked at this hotel. when walking down the halls the carpet was visibly very dingy and that carried on into the room. Once entering the room it had a slight smell to it. There was visible mold on the upper walls where they met the ceiling. The beds where super low to the floor very uncomfortable and it was very questionable if they where fresh. We did go ahead and stay because we didn't arrive until 8pm and were only staying one night. We decided to skip out on the free breakfast based on the cleanliness of the hotel so I an not speak on that. With that said my mother and I have both decided that that would be the last time we stayed at that hotel even if that meant we would have to pay double some where else.

The bed was broken down badly. It’s not the best by far. Could use a better cleaning.

I wouldn't give a higher score, for several reasons.1 because we had ordered a nonsmoking room, and our suite smelled like cigarette smoke, 2 we used the jacuzzi and when we started up the jets, black spots came into the water, presumably from the jet holes. 3 while appliances appeared clean, the wall beside the toilet and tub appeared dirty and like no one had cleaned it in while... Thank you for your consideration of these disappointing factors. other wise our stay was a good one. I just wouldn't very quickly recommend to my family and friends
