The entire complex smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. Fortunately it was less noticeable in my non smoking room, but it was not great.

This hotel room was "definitely cheap," meaning you get what you pay for, and then some. The room is in dire need of upgrades to bring it up to today's standards; think ancient A/C and a bed straight out of the "good old days." Beyond the outdated amenities, it was exceptionally noisy, and the bathroom was, frankly, filthy. To top it off, there was no security lock on the door, which is unacceptable. The hotel seriously needs to review its room cleaning protocols.

Old pizza was left in the microwave. The TV did not work three times. I had to get the new door entry cart. The floors are sticky. The toilet was the lowest toilet height I’ve ever sat on. I would never use Econolodge again.
