The room was simply dirty and unacceptable especially for how much we had to pay for it. The hotel main areas and entry were bright and clean but not the room. I asked the evening clerk to please clean the mold and finger paint off the air unit which he did and then excused it by telling me they had staff that had quit but I think it is a long term issue. Here is what we found and I will add pictures. The bathroom was disgusting, there was so much hair in the tub drain it would not drain and I pulled the drain stopper out and it was gross. There was black goo all over the back of the door I wiped off and it turned my wash rag black, dirt, hair and grim in all the corners, drips of goo going down the walls, the switched were covered with ick I also had to wash off. There was a thick layer of fuzz on the bathroom air/vent fan cover. One bed was missing the skirt and it looked like pee or some nasty stain on the foundation mattress. The hide a bed mattress also had a gross stain on it. The sheet and covers all seemed to be very clean and the floors seemed okay in the middle. The hair dryer was also broken and the iron and ironing board had seen better days and was stained and burnt up. The doors on the closet were simply missing and two current rods had been thrown in there that had come off the curtains. Paint was peeling in many corners and the ceiling. They also only gave us only 2 towels and wash cloths for a room that sleeps 6 and we had 6 adults listed for the room. At breakfast they did not have a full stock of food but we felt watched like hawks over everything we took as the front desk person literally stood and watched us eat. Even the luggage carts were broken and missing pieces and very dirty. It just seems like a hotel that is scraping for money and neglecting simple basic things for a comfortable stay. It was a very poor experience and especially for a Comfort Inn and the $216 price tag a night.

We couldn't stay here for our reservation because the rooms were filthy. We will never be back. It's truly outrageous the conditions they expect people to stay in. Wet carpets, dirty bathrooms and walls, dirty comforters on the beds, dirty curtains. We've never seen hotel rooms this bad before. I do not recommend this hotel. Whoever owns and runs it is completely wrong for the hotel business.

Long stay for work around 100 nights with very few very minor complaints. Will definitely stay here when in the area. Staying at a different Comfort Inn tonight on my way home to FL. Wow I appreciate Comfort Suites Plymouth even more after walking into this room.
