Good experience at Hoffman Estates Comfort Inn

The room and bathroom were clean, the bed was comfortable, the staff were friendly and polite. There’s not much more we need for an overnight stay on the way to somewhere else.

Break In at my door!

At 1:45 I’m the morning someone loudly tried to break into my room. After I yelled out they quit. 3 minutes later I get a call from the front desk asking for my name. No explanation or apology or nothing. The next morning I ask the lady at checkout desk to notify the manager or owner as I wanted to speak about the situation. Nobody ever contacted me. This was very scary and nerve wracking and didn’t sleep after that.

Read the low reviews they seem to echo what I would say. I wish I had read them before booking but read them after several red flag moments and they matched my own experience. Added on extra charges. Rude at check in. The room was fine except air didn't work well. Breakfast had limited choices. Won't be back.
