The condition of the property is terrible. It looks run down and smells like a musty old building. When I called the hotel prior to booking to inquire about the pet fee, I was told the $25 would cover both my pets but at check in the clerk ask me to accept to pet fee of $67!!! When I asked about it he said it was the tax. Then suddenly it was $56. When I pressed further, suddenly his English wasn't so good. We normally search for a Quality Inn but this is probably our last stay. The whole experience has seriously declined over the last few years. This property is terrible but sadly, typical.

It's the best place to stay when in Winder, GA.

Basic maintenance is severally lacking. Damaged and worn out furniture. Missing lightbulbs and what is there are different in color/lumination. Broken lamp switches. Black mold in shower/bath tub. Toilet seat extremely loose. Toilet tank needs flushing mechanism. Not enough water in tank to flush properly. Staff apparently has no training to address problems. All responded they are new hires by only a few days. No maintenance personnel on site nor could be called. The facility smelled of various odors throughout the hotel as if only superficial cleaning had been performed. I have stayed here before with no complaints. Now a new owner is there and it should be raised to the ground because THIS IS NOT a Quality Inn any longer. Never will I ever return again.
