Great customer service and housekeeping

The hotel as a whole is rundown and unkept.. There was ramped smells of urine, smoke and marijuana in the walk ways and stairwell. The rooms have areas that were.not cleaned. The 1 time I had the room cleaned, the pillow cases were not changed out, the floor was not vacuumed, I don't believe the sheets were changed out and the counter tops.were barely wiped down. 2 of the lights did not work. The lamps that did, had such low wattage, you could barely see. The shower head was broken and so the water sprayed out of it side as well. The curtains had what appeared to be ketchup stains and looked like they had not been washed in ages. Breakfast was fine, but the pan used to hold the bacon and eggs had a broken lid and so therefore it could not be used so flies were all around it. The waiting area near the front desk was not the cleanest. The chairs are all stained and the coffee table in between the looked like it had not been clean/mustered in awhile. When I asked about the washer and dryer, a staff member told me, "I would not trust them as far as I could throw them. I would appear the the "hotel" is also being used as a weekly. People were just hanging out in the rooms, right out side the doors, the pool smoking and drinking. The police were there to assist to "move someone out" and an ambulance was there as well. This was not a safe or healthy stay and I would never recommend.

The motel needs to be updated.
