I guess it’s true that you get what you pay for. I booked this room months ago as it was close to the track and I am a choice member. I booked a room with 2 double beds and a kitchenette, first floor. We arrived late on Thursday night and the clerk was trying to put us in a room with one double bed. We are not small people and not a couple and that would not have been feasible at all. I told her that we had to have 2 beds as per my reservation. We were assigned room 143. Upon walking in to the room, I couldn’t find a light switch and as I continued to walk could hear and feel water seeping up through the laminate tiles. My feet were all wet through my shoes when I finally found a lamp and turned a light on. I called the clerk and let her know the situation as the floor was all wet. She said she could put me in a room with one bed. I again told her no, we were not together and definitely needed 2 beds as per she told me to come back to the desk. When I got there she again was saying that she only had one bed. I told her No…again. She hen said she would put us in 102 and gave me keys. As it was 2 am and we had already had a flight delay we were exhausted and just wanted to sleep. We got in the room and went to sleep. Upon waking we saw that none of the lamps had lampshades. Neither plug in the sink area worked so I wasn’t able to use the hairdryer as it was attached to the wall. Also the sink was dripping underneath so I put out the trash can to catch water. We went to the race Saturday and upon return realized the TV didn’t work. We wanted to finish watching the race on tv as it had been delayed. I went to the desk and let her know. She said she knew that tv didn’t work and gave me keys to move to room 106. By this time it was flooding and we were tired so I gave her the keys back and stayed in 102 as we didn’t want to pick up everything and move in the rain. A maintenance guy did bring us another tv on Saturday morning. Also the microwave had to be moved in order to reach a plug b

Though it’s a extended stay for those who can’t afford much and I understand that! First, the floor was leaking water near the front door? And seems to be sinking? I only had one roll of tissue, and when I went to the front desk, and after asking for another roll, literally the one of the ladies said “go to the bathroom in the main lobby just to get one from the men’s stall? Unprofessional and not customer service! The tissue rack is very loose in the room I stayed in, it could fall out at anytime! One of the lamp holders were broke on the wall! The remote control also broke! I had to take it up! Only could be waffles and cold cereal! Orange juice and apple juice machine did not work!

Nice place considering price.
