Do NOT Stay at this Hotel !!!!

The staff are nice enough, but keep standing outside the front of the hotel smoking cigarettes. It’s offensive to have to walk through smoke when you’re not a smoker. The actual physical hotel is disgusting. The elevator is dirty, there is an actual Qtip in the bottom grooves of the elevator door. The walls on the third floor are peeling, you can see staples holding the walls together. It literally looks like the hotel is stuck on the 80’s, brown and dingy. The first room we were assigned to stay in, on the second floor, was filthy. There were tissues stuffed in the cracks of a window , a bug on the floor and a thick layer of dust covering the air unit. Additionally, the air unit wasn’t working and the room was warm. The floor had not been vacuumed. The next room we were assigned room was on the third floor, it was a little better. The air worked ok. There was no conditioner in the bathroom, just two shampoos. No one told us breakfast started at 6:30am on the weekends. This would have been a good thing to know. I will never stay here again. When I asked about a late check out I was told that it is not done at this location because it’s privately owned. This needs to be addressed on google/ website. Whoever privately owns this hotel needs to gut the entire thing and start over.

Out-dated and Over-priced

First and foremost, I am writing this review to provide my honest and heartfelt opinion to bring awareness to this establishment. I checked in around 9 pm after a long day of exhaustion. Due to the method of payment I chose to provide, I was required to provide a 100 dollar cash deposit. Of which, I asked the night receptionist to just charge the deposit to my method of payment, but she declined that option and said it could not be done. If the appearance of the motel did not look so scruffy, I would have used something more official like an AMEX card. The tv was not working. The night receptionist had to come in the room, move the tv stand, and reset the tv. She had to call the manager to inform and figure out what to do. There was absolutely no towels in the room. I informed her and she literally brought a wash cloth, A bath towel, and a hand towel. This nice lady said they were all out. My thoughts were “ ARE YOU KIDDING ME? How does a “hotel” run out of towels? I stayed alone in the whirlpool king suite room. I chose this room because I just needed to relax and get a full body bath soaking. I did not use the jets. I didn’t even have a towel to prop my head on and I was on crutches due to my ankle injury, so I did not enjoy not having the extra towels that would have helped the floor stay dry. My crutches kept slipping from the moisture of bathroom. That was prior to even bathing and It was even worse after getting out of the tub! Thank GOD I didn’t hurt myself even more. The bathroom needs to have a ventilator fan that will keep the floors dry and the moisture down. The furniture was very out dated and had a smell. The standing shower needs resurfacing due to it looks like someone stepped in it with dirty shoes. Dirt marks were all over the bottom of it. I took pictures as well! The morning receptionist was not the friendliest. Lastly, check out was at 11 am and I reached out to the morning receptionist and advised her of all the inconveniences that caused an even greater delay in me getting my rest, however, she was not very polite and refused the option to allow me to check out at 12 pm because “ it was a SUNDAY.” So no, I would hands down NOT recommend this hotel whatsoever.
