It was a horrible hotel. The room didnt look like it was 2 queen size beds. The amenities werent clean. The tub was very dirty and we could smell someone smoking from the next room. There wasn't any breakfast and when I booked the hotel online it doesn't say that I had to put how many people were staying even though I got a room that stays up to four people. I will never be booking with choice anymore. I have never had this problem and it definitely wouldn't happen again.

Hotel in desperate need of repair and cleaning - would love a refund
The hotel was in a really bad state overall. Dirty carpets, duck taped together carpet seams, broken tiles everywhere, open holes in the room, loud occupants, pets present and strong smells of marijuana. There were kids hanging out on the stairs that were staring us down and left my family and I feeling unsafe. We checked in and left to go to another hotel within the first 20 minutes of being there.
Attempting to get a refund has also not been a great experience. I was shown a phone number to call, which I assume is to the general manager, which I called multiple times with no answer or callback even after leaving two messages. A day later I received a text saying only, "Text me please." I texted the person the entire above story and asked for a refund and got no response that day. I asked for an update twice and finally got a response the next day that said, "hold on." I've yet to hear anything further or receive a refund and after speaking to the corporate office they said that only the general manager can issue refunds so now I'm stuck waiting/dealing with the general manager that barely responds.
If someone reading this can help with this matter I would be very appreciative as this has been one of the worst experiences I've had dealing with a hotel so far.
