While the hotel was reasonably clean, it was not "newly renovated" as advertised by the check-in clerk. The room smelled like dog and smoke but the floor was laminate so the smell must have been trapped in the bedding, the drapes, or the AC, all of which should have been updated in a renovation. A cord to one of the lamps was held together by electrical tape and the smoke detector's battery case was sticking out with no battery in it. One of the face towels was dirty so we were afraid to use any of the other towels and even leery of the of the bedding. If that wasn't enough to deter you, the wafer thin walls should. We spent most of the evening/night listening to the person roomed next to us who was watching the tv and talking on his phone. It was so clear, we could hear the person he was speaking with on the phone. Not a pleasant visit.

Inexpensive and clean - good! No hot water and other guests were SUPER LOUD - bad. Zero hot water in the morning for showers means I just can’t stay there again though.

No breakfast like other Choice hotels. I paid the same price at Choice comfort up the street be they were booked for this night
