How to Save Money in Rochester

• Light up the tapered arched-shaped sculpture at the Mayo Civic Center. The interactive artwork can be found on the south plaza of the center with a kiosk that overlooks the sculpture from inside the center. Type on the kiosk keyboard and watch the sculpture come alive!
• Play for free at the Minnesota Children’s Museum - Rochester. The first Sunday of the month is when families make their way to the museum to enjoy the exhibits and themed activities. Check out the museum’s facebook page for a complete description of events.
• Go for 1^st Place during the Winterfest Great Cardboard Sled Race. For a small fee, your family can win awards like “Fastest Sled” or “Best Design.” Best part is you’ll be helping a good cause as the Winterfest events are held to raise funds for Rochester non-profits.
