This daring Fort Collins dog will surely bring a smile to your face
Loving a snow day Snow doesn’t come often to Fort Collins, but when Pixel gets to experience it, she is all about it. “She loves to run in it but doesn’t really judge depth very well and often face-plants in a snowbank or a ditch,” says Housh. One place Pixel has seen a lot of snow is during mountain travel to Breckenridge, a little more than two hours from her home.
Pawsome Colorado Adventures Of Pixel A quirky, sweet and sometimes stubborn pup, Pixel loves to explore Fort Collins, Colorado, on walks and hikes with her human companion, Aimee Housh. These adventurers have traveled around town and taken trips to places across Colorado, such as Breckenridge, Blair Mountain in White River National Forest and Wise Mountain, near Frisco, where they often find themselves on four-wheelers heading into the backcountry. Ready for adventure Pixel, who is 2-and-a-half years old in this picture, loves being able to explore, and Riverbend Ponds Natural Area in Fort Collins is the perfect place for her to do so. With three miles of natural surface trails, a boardwalk and seven ponds, Housh and Pixel love to spend time outdoors here.
