Our Commitment to Clean at Cambria® Hotels

Cambria hotels across the country are ready to welcome you back when you’re ready to travel. Over the next few weeks, guests may experience a growing variety of new and improved protocols, products and communications, some of which are already in place, that will serve to enhance Cambria Hotels’ commitment to clean.

Enhanced Cleanliness Standards

We’re building on our longstanding cleanliness protocols and enhancing the existing program with guidance developed in response to the pandemic, including recommendations related to deep cleaning, disinfecting, hygiene, and social distancing best practices and protocols.

Housekeeping Upon Request

We’ve redesigned our housekeeping program to promote an uninterrupted stay and give guests more options. Cambria hotels are providing housekeeping services upon request for shorter visits and after every third night during longer stays. Guests can call the front desk to request more frequent housekeeping or ask for additional towels, toiletries and linens when needed.

Enhanced cleaning procedures

We’re providing guidance for heightened cleaning protocols for high-traffic areas such as the front desk, fitness centers and pools, as well as other high-touch surfaces throughout the hotel, using hospital-grade disinfectant approved by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency to combat the spread of COVID-19.

Face coverings optional in common areas

Following the CDC’s latest updates to public health guidance for fully vaccinated individuals, many Cambria Hotels locations are no longer requiring the use of face coverings in hotel common areas. However, face covering requirements may vary by location as hotels continue to comply with state and local requirements, health ordinances and other regulations. We appreciate your support in helping to protect the safety of hotel guests, employees and visitors.

 

Commitment to Clean Captains

Every hotel will designate a “Commitment to Clean Captain,” each of whom will complete applicable best-in-class cleanliness training and will be responsible for incorporating the new protocols into their hotel's operations.

Cambria Contactless Concierge Service

Limit your interactions with hotel staff by using our Cambria Contactless Concierge Service, a text messaging service for housekeeping requests, to-go food orders, meeting room requests and more.

Social distancing guidelines

We’ve updated the check-in process to limit social interactions and issued guidelines for social distancing at the front desk area. In our indoor and outdoor spaces, furniture arrangements may be updated to encourage appropriate social distancing in accordance with CDC guidelines. Our new hotel guidelines also include hand sanitizing stations in public spaces.

Takeout dining options

Enjoy locally sourced, non-buffet selections as well as packaged lunch boxes and takeout options at the restaurant and bar. Many Cambria hotels also offer a self-serve marketplace with pre-packaged meals and grab-n-go snacks and drinks.

Ecolab resources

Our approach to infection prevention includes a close association with Ecolab, who is helping ensure we have the right infection prevention programs and training in place to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. This includes a new online resource hub available to franchisees, featuring operational best practices, training and resources from Ecolab's industry-leading experts.

Commitment to Clean: Meetings Well Planned

At Cambria Hotels locations with meeting space, the core Commitment to Clean initiative has been extended to include special guidance for events. Flexible meeting room layout options may include configurations to allow for physical distancing. Personal hand sanitizer will be available in guest rooms, and you’ll find hand sanitizing stations in high-traffic spaces, which may include meeting rooms. Also choose from several service-style dining options with plated or boxed meals, including to-go service and socially distanced dining in our indoor and outdoor meeting spaces.
