Bad Experience at Econo Lodge (VT402)

Run down property, run down room, not entirely clean (hair in sink, etc), smell of renovation, no coffee in morning, $118 + $12 tax = $130 grossly out of line (yet web price less than $80 which is still overpriced). I will never ever stay in an Econo Lodge again - not in a million years!

Wish we stayed somewhere else.

The room we were given looked like a room they would allow pets in, which we did not have. It was dirty, the chairs all torn up. The remote didn't work for the tv, I had to do it from tv itself. AC sounded funny and very loud. I found a wash cloth on the shower curtain rod that looked like it had been there a bit.

Highly disappointed for price

This site advertised queen sized beds but they are definitely full sized. The rooms have been “updated” but continue to be dirty. The mattress cover had visible dirt stains and there were bugs in the bathroom. I only know the mattress cover was stained bc I felt it necessary to check for bed bugs. The A/C unit smelled like mold and mildew and rattled the entire night. This room was massively overpriced especially given the fact that there were other guests drugged out on the walkways when we pulled in. The shower curtain rod was on the verge of pulling out of the wall, the toilet seat wasn’t secured and there was only one trash can in the entire room so all bathroom trash was in the main living space.
