Am I eligible for the Choice Cares rate?

The Choice Cares rate is available to all workers, support staff & volunteers that local government has identified as Key Workers.

Thank you for everything you are doing to ensure access to essential services & keeping out community safe during this time.

Key Workers include:

Health & Social Care – all medical staff, social workers, care workers, frontline & support staff, medicine & equipment producers & suppliers, and volunteers within the sector
Education & Childcare – all teaching & nursery staff, social & care workers, frontline Specialist & support staff, and volunteers within the sector
Key Public Services – justice system, funeral & support workers, journalists & broadcasters
Local & National Government – all workers who are delivering a service essential to COVID 19 response, or workers who are delivering essential public services
Food & Necessary Goods – those involved in manufacture delivery & sale of food & other key goods
Public Safety & National Security – all police, fire, border security & armed forces, as well as all support staff
Transport – all workers in road, rail & air, as well as all freight services
Utilities, Communication & Financial Services – all frontline workers & support staff within these industries
