I usually stay at Choice Hotels when I travel with my partner, but this time was disappointing. I discovered on the second day of our stay that our room on the second floor had mold at the bottom of the drapes, near the AC unit. Both me and my partner experienced some sort of respiratory issue and/or allergies. We spoke to front desk, and they were able to move us to another room at no extra cost. There was no mold on the curtains and the air and smell was much lighter and fresher.
