Considering the price, and the forced two night stay, we were expecting a luxury room! It was anything, but! The furniture was a gathering of random furniture, with no particular style, other than “ early depression” Fabric was worn and torn on the chair in the living room. The kitchen sink cabinet was worn and probably came from another era. Our beds were mushy at best.! My husband and I would roll into each other, because the mattresses were so soft! To beat all that, we couldn’t get our suitcases in that bedroom, because ithere was barely space to walk between the wall, and the foot of the bed. Additionally, the wiring Set up for the air conditioner using an extension cord was nearly an electrical hazard!!! In comparison, we were happy to learn, and see for ourselves that not all the rooms were in this sad condition. Our son and his wife stayed one level down in a large room with a king bed, and the amenities were at least a little more modern and less worn. We would appreciate our confirmation number, so that we can at least register our stay for the choice hotels benefit.

great location and amenities (pool, sitting areas, deck), beautiful setting, decent breakfast (though scrambled eggs were cold), good coffee, nice big room with fridge/freezer and table/chairs, acceptable bathroom (a little dated, no hair dryer or makeup mirror, need's a better showerhead), friendly staff and lovely manager

Common areas dusty, stained rugs ripped rugs, library without books, vending machines look like they had been ransacked, board games that were thee in October 224 were gone, breakfast was disappointing.
