It was awful, dirty and our non-smoking room smelled like smoke. The bathroom door wouldn't close, the plug didn't work and the bedding looked like it was already slept in. Econo Lodges have really went down hill and I will avoid them from now on.

Typically, you can hear the housekeeper starting to make their rounds around 9 AM regardless what time checkout is they begin knocking on doors waking everyone who may be still sleeping. They seem to have no regard for the actual checkout time nor do they honor if you’re a choice member and have a late check out at 12. They simply say we do not participate in that and They cannot update it online when in fact the representative stated that they simply just have to call in and have that changed. The breakfast bar was subpar at best. They had partially stale bread to prepare toast, but no butter or jelly to spread on it. Also, the waffle machine look like it had not been cleaned in several days if at all. The milk and juice were just sat out on the counter, getting very warm over the designated breakfast hours. Although it may be simple items, they still should be aware of safe food handling for someone make it sick.

I needed a room to sleep in while traveling. This hotel offered a clean and comfortable room at an affordable price.
