Threatened with being put on the no serve list.
Upon leaving the hotel this morning we were rudely informed by the front desk clerk that he would be keeping our $50 deposit. This was due to the fact that we had our children with us and our reservation was only for two people. An honest mistake while booking; and the clerk that checked us in the night before observed all four of us in the lobby and he did not mention anything about the number of guests.
With the rude statement that the morning clerk made; my husband responded - you do what you need to do. And the clerk informed us that we would be put on the no serve list. My husband shook his head and walked out.
If we would have been asked how many guests during check-in we would have gladly paid any cost differences. But to be questioned and then threatened while pouring a cup of coffee is not professional at all.
