Easy access to everything. All we needed in the room. Quick check in and out with friendly helpful staff.

The morning of our stay, the credit on file was ran for the deposit and it came up invalid so our reservation was cancelled, notification was only sent by email. No call was placed to ensure I received the email, which I hadn't bc it went to my corporate email address since I was using by corporate discount rate to book. My sister and I drove from Kingston to Toronto and when attempting to check in at the front desk, were told about the cancellation and that they had no rooms available. After further discussion, it was discovered that my credit card information was taken over the phone and recorded incorrectly. We were then offered a room with a king size bed instead of 2 queens at the same rate. This was satisfactory but it was a stressful situation, thinking we may not have somewhere to stay for the night. In this scenario, and email should be sent and a call should be placed to make all efforts to contact the customer. The room requires some updates to the bathroom, specifically the shower. And the wood flooring did not look professionally done, with lots of gaps between pieces. The toilet also didn't flush very well during our stay and ended up breaking before checking out. The pool was great! But drinks took very long to come once ordered.

I had very high expectations for this hotel, which were somewhat let-down when I found that the room was basically the same as most other hotels in the area that I’ve stayed in before. The one thing that sets this hotel apart is the fifth-floor pool lounge.
