The gym equipment was not working properly and the temperature in the gym was like a sauna. The hotel is outdated, outdoor pool not open, the air conditioning unit sounded like a jet plane, the chairs on the balcony where covered in dirt, the mattress was old uncomfortable and squeaking, the toilet was intermittently running all night, OMG a complete nightmare

The name of the hotel is extremely mis leading. This hotel is tired, old and smells. I travel around the world regularly and have stayed in great hotels, large and small.
This hotel needs a total remake, cleanse and make-over. The location is Barrie, not North Bay. We expected something better and cleaner. Very disappointed.
