The hotel staff was friendly and helpful, but the facilities and the room appeared to have been neglected and allowed to fall into disrepair. The walls in the hallway had damaged and ripped wallpaper, heavily stained carpet. The room had stains on the carpet, walls, ceiling and in the bathtub. There were cigarette holes in the upholstery of the furniture in the room. One elevator didn't work, so the cleaning staff was using the only other elevator for their carts, forcing customers to wait. That elevator had buttons that didn't light up... just a lot of stuff needing attention.

The views of the lake are great. The options for a walk, a work out or even a beer are right a the location. The hotel needs some upgrades. And is in need of some repairs. But, over all possibly the best choice in the area.

I booked a room with a king size bed and a jacuzzi on the phone with a representative. Upon arrival after driving out of our way to your location at 8pm when I went to check in I was told it was a conference room with full bar, refrigerator and no jacuzzi. They said the only room with a jacuzzi was booked until Monday. This was very upsetting, but they gave me a room as it was too late to go elsewhere. I got to the room and it had 2 queen beds. I went back to complain and I was asked “are you sure” , “ did you go in the room”. Of course I did, how else would I know???. I was then given another room with the king size bed that I had asked for. You could hear the tv thru the wall of the room next door. I was not given any form of compensation after all of the mistakes. Not good customer policy. I will not be booking with Clarion and will advise friends and family to stay away.
