Horrible experience. Unfortunately they refused me to cancel the reservation. Have to stay in the dirty and uncomfortable room for almost 1 month.

Clean and does the job. There were a few things that could be fixed with a little more budget: when we first arrived, nobody was at the desk, and calling it resulted in meeting a full voicemail box. However, in 5 minutes’ of our arrival, someone came and checked us in. There was some discarded furniture out on the lawn waiting for pickup (by the next day they were). My guess is looks like there isn’t budget allocated to hire a 2nd person to back up the main desk person; it would be a huge improvement if there were. For the washer-dryer combination unit, while it was convenient to have in the bathroom, we needed to look up the manual online to figure out how to use it. Also, most settings take at least 2 hours for one action. If you’re used to fast washing and drying, or have a lot of laundry, I recommend going to a coin laundromat which have larger machines. But this won’t be an option for travelers who don’t have their own car. The sensor for exiting the door on the parking garage is sometimes broken. There is a small laminated sign, alerting you of this fact, and to “press the green button”. It takes a while to find this button, but it does exist! The hotel is located near a Chinatown district, so there is a plethora of delicious restaurants and cafes in walking distance. Would I recommend this for an elegant, romantic getaway? No. Would I recommend this for testing out the long-term stability of your relationship, such as checking whether your partner actually has some classist/racist tendencies, and whether they can work with you as a team instead of being your opponent? Yes! And it’s much, much safer than a rollercoaster, or camping in the outback. This isn’t a fancy place, and there could be more staffing and repairs made of hardware. But everything is clean and works as advertised. Even things that are broken do have a fix already available (but the fix will be hidden inside a small laminated sign).
