Cold pool with too much chlorine, no maid service ( stayed a week). Cold breakfast

I reserved and paid in full for a room in March - my stay was in July. I got there and was told they had a reservation for the Sleep Inn not Mainstays, and that I owed $800+. I showed her my confirmation, she tried to figure it out, but couldn't. She told me she didn't have any availability for the night or weekend. After a call to her manager, I was put in a room on the Mainstays side- but it was a king room with a pullout couch. Not a double room with a pull out couch. This made it difficult for sleeping arrangements. Was told to see manager in the morning, he didn't show up. So I was told to just keep my room. Not happy it wasn't the one I reserved and paid for months ahead of time. I also asked for more pillows and blankets to which I was told there wasn't any. When I pulled out the sleeper sofa it still had a sheet on it - telling me it was used, and not cleaned. There was also a bunch of garbage and dog food under the couch. They were good about other supplies - toilet paper, bath towels & a toothbrush. The pool was freezing cold - not heated at all. Breakfast was ok - they ran out of sausage on Saturday, and then also bacon on Sunday. Staff was friendly. Tried their best. Not a horrible place, but not how pictures are portrayed online either.

There was a very nice lady at the desk during our stay. She did her best to help accommodate us since the tv wouldn’t work. Pool area was a bit small. Nice clean rooms, with wear and tear noted. Loved the space we had.
